April Action

April has come to a close and a lot has been going on here at Cróga CrossFit.

We’ve added a few additional members to the crew (Carrie, Vince, Cody, Leigh, Edith, Sam, Pareesa, Dane, Christopher, Lisa, Frankie, Michelle, and Adam), so please make sure to introduce yourselves and get to know the newest additions to our family.

SIDE NOTE: Speaking of meeting the new people…What better way than to do a Cinco De Mayo Party partner WOD this Saturday, May 4th, at 12 noon and then hang out after to have some food and drinks? The answer is “There is no better way!”

Photo Apr 24, 4 12 56 PMMany of you were introduced to some brand new and very fun movements like Turkish Get Ups, Farmer’s Carry and Tire Flips, to name just a few (pictures below).

A huge stack of PR’s were set during every single strength day, deadlifts, back squats, shoulder press, push press, push jerks and split jerks.

And last, but not least, many of you made substantial progress in your squat ROM (range of motion), which now allows you to not only complete a full air squat below parallel, but do so with weight on your back or overhead.
