Fri 10/31/14:
Still trying to get back into the routine. I need to start eating and sleeping better. Hoping to get fully back into it at the start of the next week.

A. High Hang Power Snatch x1 + Power Snatch x1 – 1 set of the complex on the min for 8min @ 135#
These were pretty simple. It’s been awhile since I did much snatching, so I was just trying to work on my movement. It got better as I went along. Video below:

B. Power Snatch – 30 reps for time @ 165#
I blew through this. I was actually surprise by my time. I cut my thumb the day before while watching our food processor, so I had it wrapped up pretty good. This caused a little problem with my grip because I couldn’t hook grip with my right hand, but I made it work. Time was 4:20. Video below:

This WOD was extremely hard starting with the 20s. As you know I’ve got some grip issues and this really challenged it. I didn’t want to fail, so I made sure to rest before I started the next set. I’m not sure if I rested too much or not, it felt like I wasted a lot of time, but I also barely made each set on the 20s & 25s due to grip, so I’m not sure how much harder I could’ve pushed.
