I love the competitiveness of the workouts of course however I also love the community as well. In no other competition will you see the first person to finish cheering on the last person to finish.
I’ve lost over ten pounds, but more importantly I’ve improved my health. I sprint up stairs, instead of panting all the way to the top. I actually can feel my muscles and just in general am more toned.
I’ve learned that you’re never too old to improve. I’m accomplishing movements I never thought I could do.
The sense of community I observed during class and at the Open was something I was looking for so I finally made the switch from my previous box.
I quickly dropped several inches off of my waist requiring new pants and a smaller duty belt. I have strengthened my core and no longer suffer from low back pain due to the additional weight.
I have notice the biggest change in my life with my family life, I find myself having more energy for my 3 boys and more patience. I have also lost over 40lbs, this is the most exciting part of CrossFit, seeing your body changing and having to purchase new clothing.
CrossFit at Cróga has changed my life. I have gotten myself back into the shape that I was in in my twenties–I’m in the best shape since college.
Cróga is like Cheers. Everybody knows your name and are always glad you came. Dave has created an incredibly welcoming place and everyone there is so friendly. It makes going to work out an easy decision, and, for the first time, I actually look forward to it!
I’ve got muscle tone! Woo hoo! I definitely feel stronger and fitter. I noticed a significant improvement in my strength, technique, and endurance from past years.
The thing I probably enjoy more than the exercising is the community at Cróga. I have met a ton of great people that I really enjoy seeing each day. Cróga has done a great job by creating a welcoming environment that combines fun and fitness.
Even though I may be one of the oldest members of Cróga CrossFit at 58yrs old, the environment is very inclusive and inspirational. I love it and I am getting compliments from lots of my friends about looking very good these days.
I feel great! I look like I’m carving myself out of myself always improving. My performance is insane! I’m stronger, faster and all around better at age 36 then I was at 26.
I love the feeling of accomplishment as I drive home after completing the 6 AM workout. I do enjoy that I am learning new movements and developing new muscle groups. I appreciate having the ongoing instruction/guidance during each class.
I have never felt so strong and seen myself grow in any kind of workout like CrossFit. I constantly push myself (with the help of the coaches) to keep improving in all of the skills.
There have been days where I’m soaking in sweat, my body is shaking and I feel like I can’t get up but I mentally push my body to keep going. Looking back at where you started and the strength you have now is a very powerful feeling.
It’s hard but with the help of the coaches and the support of the other members, anyone can do it. It can be scaled to fit everyone’s ability. It’s so fun and such a good workout.
I’ve dropped 2 – 3 sizes (depends on the brand) – so officially no “mom jeans” for me now. It’s really cool to see the muscle definition & to simply be more compact. Each WOD I find not only can I do a bit more but I can push a bit harder.
I love the fact that I never regret going; it’s never a waste of time! Whether I get to go push myself by lifting heavy weights or challenge myself to work on skills I’m weaker at, I’m usually super excited to go to class.
It has improved not only my fitness, but also my overall happiness. I’m better at work, a better husband and a better father. I really can’t say enough about it. And, I had a blood test done in late January, and my cholesterol had dropped from 206 the previous year to 158.
I joined in December and thought I would try for 3 months. I am 6 months in now and can see big changes in not just my body but my attitude. I feel so much stronger and more capable in all areas of life.
I saw improvements in my “Lifetime PRing” blood markers, body fat %, running times, lifting results, and so on. And I’ve learned many valuable life skills here at Cróga that I can show off to my kids like handstands – they’re already copying it!
I feel like CrossFit has had a huge impact on my life. I’ve reaped some excellent physical improvements in strength, endurance, body composition, and general energy level. However, I’ve also really appreciated some of the more unseen benefits: mental toughness, confidence, and the capacity to do everyday things more efficiently.

I love the positive reinforcement and encouragement I get when I go to Cróga. I also like seeing the people I know and meeting new people at the gym.
Since joining Cróga about a year ago, I’ve lost 20 lbs of body fat and gained just under 10 lbs of lean muscle.
Dave and Kelly are the best coaches around and really care about their members. The Box feels like a family.

I love the variation, the constant challenge, and the coaches who keep pushing me. That’s what keeps bringing me back week after week. I also like the structure and the ability to scale with no judgement.
I feel like I have found a very different level of fitness than I ever achieved before in my life. I have always been big and strong, but have never been able to do some of the more basic body weight physical acts, like a pull up, before.
I love working out and going to the gym. I realized how bored I was with the typical gym workout when I came to Cróga.

At Cróga CrossFit, there are people of various body types and fitness levels. We all do the workouts together and Dave and Kelly take the time to make sure we know the movements and that we are using proper technique. It is like joining a family at Cróga.
I have lost about 20 lbs since I started. I can lift more weight than I ever thought possible. I can get through the WODs a lot faster and more efficient than I did in the beginning.
I can’t understate how everybody at Cróga, both coaches and members help to make this gym awesome. Knowing that whenever I arrive there’s going to be a group of people ready to smash through WODS and tack on extra credit motivates me to show up and work as hard as they do.
I love the way I feel physically, emotionally and spiritually and I want to keep my life on that track. My greatest motivation comes from Dave and Kelly, my coaches, who believe in me whole heartedly.

I am mentally and physically stronger. I have done WOD’s that have left me sore…very sore, and I have the energy to still come back for more the next day.
Outside the gym I’m just happier and more confident. For me, CrossFit has been a metaphor for never giving up, believing in yourself and always trying your best.

I do feel much stronger overall. Although I have gained nearly 8 pounds since joining, I was pleasantly surprised to find out that my overall body fat percentage has not gone up and shocked to find out how much muscle I have added.
Not only is it a great variety of workouts everyday, great for any age or skill level, we have awesome coaches and a lot of really cool members. Nothing else compares.
I have lost 8lbs and I have much better muscle tone in my upper body. My midriff bulge is gone and I am more comfortable in my clothes. The biggest change is really in how I feel. I am not as stressed out as I used to be and I am putting my health and fitness as a priority in my weekly schedule.

We offer classes at various times on weekdays, as early as 5 am and as late at 7:30 pm.
And we’re open at , 8:00 am, 9:00 am & 10:00 am on Saturdays and 9:00 am Sundays, too. We offer more CrossFit classes than any other CrossFit affiliate in the area.
We know you have a busy and hectic schedule filled with work and family. We never want our schedule to dictate your ability to make a class, so we have made our classes available to you as much as possible.
More than this, our morning coaches do not coach in the evenings, and our evening coaches do no coach in the mornings. This means that you will not be coached by a tired, burnt out coach at 7:30pm. Our coaches work a manageable 5 to 15 hours a week, so they have plenty of energy to give to each member and each class.
The strength in our CrossFit gym lies in our community. From Beach WODs to breast cancer fundraisers to member appreciation backyard BBQs, our members are more than just fitness junkies.
We like to workout, but we enjoy socializing with cool people even more. We strive to host at least 1 community event a month to get together outside of our normal class environment and enjoy the wonderful people that make up our awesome community.
Fitness is something that should make your life better; it’s not something we think should dominate your life. We believe it’s important to be well-rounded people who know how to let loose, have a drink and socialize with friends.
And, we have learned that members who are engaged in the community are more likely to want to show up to CrossFit – because they show up not just to workout, but also to enjoy themselves socially.
There are many elements that go into making a top-of-the-line fitness facility. From the training components like having enough equipment and well educated & friendly coaches to the practical components like an easy to get to location with good parking, our facility has all the necessary features to help you get fit and stay fit for life.
Imagine having to drive to a deserted warehouse district miles away from home every morning just to be coached by someone that has no clue what your name is because you’re one of 30+ in class. This is the case for many athletes that choose CrossFit as their method of achieving better fitness.
Things like driving less than a mile, knowing everyone in class and having a personal connection with the coach may seem like small peanuts when you’re half asleep at 6 am, but without them, people are quick to notice.
In short, everything runs more smoothly when things are personal, close and convenient.
Our group CrossFit classes are fantastic, but some would like to start CrossFit in a more intimate setting or learn a new skill with some one-on-one coaching.
For these situations, we offer personal training and individual coaching with the coach of your choice and at times convenient to your schedule.
