DWM Fri 3/6/15

Fri 3/6/15:
I felt good in the morning, I got about 7 hours of sleep the night before. The plan was to coach until 10 am, go home and take a nap (I got 1.5 hours), then come back and hit the WOD about 2 pm. This worked out perfectly and I plan to do the same for the remaining 3 workouts.

This went great. I didn’t run into any trouble with the gameplan or focus, just had to stick to it and do my best, which I believe I did.

Open WOD 15.2
From 0:00-3:00
2 rounds of:
10 overhead squats (95 / 65 lb.)
10 chest-to-bar pull-ups
I followed our pull-up format until the 2nd round of 16 pull-ups where I did 5 and then I did 11 singles. I am not sure if I really had to go to the singles, but I was worried about my grip causing me to not make it, so I just went there and it worked out. I made it through the 16s with about 11 seconds to spare. Then I did singles during the 18s for the pull-ups. I went unbroken on the barbell, which was the plan and also is something I couldn’t do the previous 3 attempts, so that was good and I think that is why I got the 8 extra reps for a total of 263 this time.
