A. Squat Snatch – 10min to build to tough single; rest to complete recovery before 15.5
Great session here. I was determined to make 255+ this day and the intensity was at peak levels, as you’ll see in the video. The bar felt light, the catch felt good and my movement felt good during this whole session. I went 205-225-235-245-250-255-260. Now that I’m starting to get into the mid-200s I can probably scrap that 205 since I know I’m going to make it every time without any trouble. 10 min video is below, plus videos of the 3 heaviest lifts.

Specific Prep – 15min (row/thruster intervals, DROM, etc)

This was good, but I think I might’ve gone out a little too hard and was definitely fatigued from the snatching. I went 7:22, which was a 6 second PR, but I know I can go faster. All my muscles were seriously fatigued, the breathing was actually really good, my calves, glutes, hamstrings, quads, shoulders, triceps and biceps were all on fire. Video below.
