I think the cold is finally gone and I felt good today when I woke up. We went to a pizza restaurant for lunch and my stomach wasn’t too happy with all the cheese that I consumed during lunch, so I wasn’t feeling 100% when I got to the gym, but I just tried to push through. I’m glad it was a quick WOD, the 100 rep WOD I’m doing tomorrow would’ve been horrible to do today.
A. Squat Snatch – build to 1RM; rest as needed

Like I said earlier, I wasn’t feeling my best, but I was pulling the 215 high enough, just missing the catch, so I kept going for it and finally caught one well. I pulled the 225 high enough as well, but missed the catch. I caught my pelvis kinda hard on one of the 215 misses and then again during the last try at 225, so I just stopped because I knew I had the 20 reps coming up.

B. Squat Snatch – 20 reps for time @ 77% of “A” – 165 lbs – 3:01
This went really well and I was very happy with it. I never missed a rep and standing up the barbell after the catch was the toughest part, so the snatches all felt pretty good.
