Mon 5/12/14:
Felt good this morning, body was feeling good and I got some good rest yesterday, so nothing really to report.
A. HB Back Squat w/ bands – 5,5,5,3,3,3; rest 2:30 (bar @65% + moderate band tension)
This was good, I did the first set of 5 with just the green band, then added the blue band as well for some additional resistance. They were definitely difficult, but not impossible at 225 lbs, which is 65% of my 1RM high bar back squat, 345 lbs. Videos below:

B. Double Broad Jump – 6 attempts to establish max distance double jump (minimize ground contact time on second jump)
These were good, I never really made any improvement and didn’t fall off much after the first attempt. My scores were approximately 18′-6″, 18′-4″, 18′-4″, 18′-2″, 17′-11″ & 18′-4″. Videos below:

C. BB Back Rack RLE Split Squat – 4 x 5-6 TOUGH reps ea leg; rest 90sec b/t legs
I hit the first set with each leg at 185 lbs. This was doable, but I didn’t think I could make it for 3 more sets, so I went down to 165. These proved to still be pretty tough. I liked these, they really felt like they were very hard and were going to crush me. Videos below:

This was BRUTAL! The snatches went well, but got really difficult in the last 2 rounds. I hit the first sled push with 3 plates and it was too heavy to keep the legs moving, so I went down to 2 plates for the other 4 rounds. My legs were completely smoked after this and my lungs were feeling it too. As much as it sucked, I liked it, another good one that I could tell is going to help me. Videos below:
