Slept a good 8 hours on Sunday night, felt good this morning except for a little tightness in my neck.
A. Squat Snatch – 7 singles @ 175-185#; rest as needed (dial this in)
These were good, nothing too tough here, just trying to work on a solid catch. I did 3 at 175 & 4 at 185. Videos below:
B. Pause Front Squat – 4 x 3; rest 2min (moderate, 2sec pause in hole)
Nothing terrible here, did all sets at 225. Just tried to be patient in the bottom. I was happy that 225 felt moderate, that definitely means my front squat is coming along. Videos below:
C. Sotts Press – 3 x 4-5; rest 90sec (use 80% of load from Jul-14)
These were pretty simple, I did them at 70 lbs. Nothing really to report, videos below:
Mobility as needed
Worked on my neck that had a kink in it, went to the chiropractor and she worked on my hips and aligned my neck too. Still working on the lats on the regular basis to help with that front rack position.
