Woke up early to get my workout in before heading to the norcal regionals. 6 am is pretty early to do heavy lifting for me, but it turned out not to be so bad because I got Luke to meet me there. Everything felt good that morning, nothing to report.
A. HB Back Squat – build to 1RM; rest as needed
I was feeling good and was pretty sure I was going to PR based on the way everything felt up to 315. I took video of my lifts at 335, 355 (10# PR), 365 (20# PR) & 375 (failed on the way up, I almost had it). I am pretty sure I can make 375, just gotta stick with it. Videos below:

This went well, I had to drop after 6 of the 9 pull-ups to finish it because of grip, but besides that I moved well. The only way I’m going to go any faster is if I speed up the transitions and the thrusters. My time was 2:45, which is a 3 second PR. Video below:
