Slept 9.5 hours last night, it was fantastic. Haven’t really lost any weight since getting home from the honeymoon and I’m feeling heavy on some of the gymnastics stuff. You think I should make losing the 10 lbs or so a priority or just keep with the same eating habits we used to get me stronger and let it figure itself out?
A little hard to keep the intensity up here because this stuff is kinda boring, but did my best.
A. HS Walking/Free HS Hold Tech work – 15min
Not a great showing, but not terrible. Shoulders were pretty fatigued from the C&J yesterday.
B. Muscle-up – 4 UB reps on the min for 8min
These were good, but I wasn’t able to go UB on rounds 6, 7 & 8. Note the “heavy” feeling I mentioned above.
C1. Wall-facing HS Hold – 3 x 60sec; rest 20sec
I could definitely feel the fatigue in the shoulders from the day before. These were harder than last week.
C2. Hollow-body Rocks – 3 x AMSAP; rest 20sec
I thought these were easier than last week, I got the hang of them a little bit. Times were 35, 33, 36 seconds.
C3. Arch Body Rocks – 3 x AMSAP; rest 20sec
These were just as hard as last time. My hamstrings start to cramp up during these. Times were 20-17-19 seconds.
C4. Side Plank – 3 x AMSAP; rest 2min
Shoulder fatigue was the limiting factor here, not core. Times were 62/65, 48/54, 54/52.
Run/RowBike – 30-45min @ Z1
I rode my bike for 30 minutes on the local lake trail. It felt good to get out and enjoy the last of the sunny weather. Winter is definitely coming.
