Got a ton of sleep last night, close to 10 hours, although it was a little restless because it’s been so freaking hot here lately and we don’t have air conditioning.
CS Activation & Recovery
Aerobic Based Warm-up – 15min (get loose & warm)
DROM – 5min
Running Drills/Prep/Intervals – 5min
Run – 1mi for time
AD – 20min @ Rec pace (100-120)
Ido Portal Locomotion Routine – 20min continuous
I skipped everything except the aerobic warm-up, DROM, running drills and 1 mile because I was at the track. I did run for about 10 minutes and then walk for 10 minutes after the mile though to cool down.
Mile time was 5:41, which is a PR as far as I know. Not a lifetime PR because at one point in life I weighed around 130 and played soccer 6 days a week, but definitely a PR since high school, so my fastest time in 11 years.
I did some squat mobility later in the day to make up for skipping it earlier, worked on my hips, psoas, ankles & glutes. This locomotion routine is ridiculous, I can’t wait to get that Ostrich walk on video, hahahaha.
