As many of you may know, we decided to kick off 2015 with a bang and encourage our members that were looking to change their eating habits to complete a Whole30 with us during the month of January.
For those of you wondering, what’s the Whole30? It is “a short-term nutritional reset, designed to help you restore a healthy metabolism, heal your digestive tract, calm systemic inflammation and put an end to unhealthy cravings, habits, and relationships with food.” You can read more here – Step One: Discover the Whole30
Well, January has come and gone and just like our previous Cróga Whole30 during October 2013, we have a lot of success to report!
Doug – 14 lbs lost
Sam – 15 lbs lost
Pareesa – 10 lbs lost
Steve – 7 lbs lost
Betsy – 7 lbs lost (6.5 inches lost at the waist!)
David D – 12 lbs lost (40+ lbs lost since starting at Cróga. Lightest he’s weighed in 20 years)
David M – 12 lbs lost
The totals: 77 lbs lost OR 11 lbs a person. Not bad for just 30 days, especially considering more than half of our participants already prescribe to a paleo diet more than 75% of their meals.
